About this extension
Page Note Helper lets you capture a small note tied to the page you're on, then find it later. Click the toolbar button, type a note, and optionally highlight the selected text on the page. Everything is stored locally—no accounts and no remote servers.
This add-on focuses on speed and privacy. Notes are saved to your browser storage only. Use the options page to review, edit, export, or delete your notes at any time. The highlight feature wraps your current text selection in a <mark> tag so it stands out when you revisit the page.
Under the hood, the extension uses just three permissions: activeTab, tabs, and storage. There is no webRequest access, no content scripts running on every page, and no remote code. The content script is injected on demand only after you click the highlight button in the popup.
