About this extension
Page Noter lets you capture the page you’re viewing and attach a short note so you can find it again with context. Click the toolbar button, press Capture to read the title and link from the active tab, add a line or two about why the page matters, and save. Your notes are stored with the page details using the browser’s local storage. They never leave your device. There is an Options page where you can review your saved items, export them to a JSON file, or clear them entirely.
The extension is carefully scoped to follow best practices. It does not inject code on every site by default and it does not request broad host permissions. It only runs a small content script on the active tab when you press Capture, and only to read the title, URL, and any selected text to help prefill your note. There is no remote code, no eval, and no network communication.
