About this extension
For internet addresses (defined in a ruleset) block web calls going to outside their local web domain.
This is to ensure that when opening unknown content, such as emails or chat messages, inside a browser, code embedded in that content will not be able to make automatic calls to known locations or download anything.
The admin page provides overview of active policies and allows for adding, editing or removing of any and all policies. A suitable selection of defaul policies are provided both as a usefull start for the average user and as an illustration of what policies might be added.
The policy set allows the user to block external calls from any domain, and create to create exceptions where required.

This add-on was created to address the feature in browsers where by html sent to a user in the form of an email (opening in a web-based email applicaiton ) or chat message (just about anywhere, but particularly social media) could contain self-executing code (javascript) which in turn could download malware; or embedded reference links (to images and other media) which could do the same.
