Patera collects session cookies from social media platforms (Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitch, Snapchat, Reddit, Telegram) only when the user explicitly clicks "Connect" for each platform. Cookies are read via browser.cookies.getAll() and transmitted over HTTPS to auth.patera.sh/api/auth/connect_sm. No data is collected in the background or automatically. The extension also stores a Patera session token, theme preference, and consent status locally via browser.storage.local. No data is sent to third parties. No analytics or tracking services are used. Users can disconnect their Patera account from the extension dropdown or revoke all access by uninstalling. A full privacy policy is bundled in the extension.
