- Rated 1 out of 5by jj, a year agoI never chose to install this addon and have never heard of it. Looking at the reviews it is clearly malicious. Report this extension.
- Rated 1 out of 5by jakepi, a year agoUsed to work well. The recent update now does not let me log into the extension which renders it useless.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16840880, a year agoThe new extension design no longer suggests cards based on the website visited. The user must search for the correct card.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14565419, a year agoIt was convenient, but suddenly has a massive permissions grab. NOPE! Seriously, if you are really focused on privacy, then ACT LIKE IT!
PLUS: *any* extension that hijacks the browser and pops up a new tab without your permission and without warning? Instantly removed. You are loudly saying that no matter what I was doing: like giving a presentation to a room full of people using my browser, or rushing to finish writing an article just before deadline in a CMS, is less important than instantly accepting your TOS, WHICH APPEARS IN THE UI OF YOUR EXTENSION ANYHOW. It makes an obnoxiously stupid decision that much worse. Please, please don;t let whoever greenlit this have any input on any user-facing decision ever again. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16701623, a year agoChanged privacy policy on the app to be malicious and track unnecessary user information. Ironic for an app named "PRIVACY". Had to uninstall, will just have to resort to manually copying and pasting information.
You do NOT need my IP or OS / etc for "anti-fraud purposes". That is a lie. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 17462200, a year agoGood service with issues. Would suddenly reject my debit card then accept it a few weeks later. Gave up entirely after the second rejection, unfortunately. Using Plaid is not an option with my credit union. The addon itself issued an ultimatum today - accept sending telemetry or uninstall. I shrugged and uninstalled. I recommend you do as well.
- Rated 1 out of 5by RokeJulianLockhart, a year agoUseless outside of the USA. Otherwise, it's genuinely perfect.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18055876, a year agoThey need to create a plug-in that does not need God level rights to read/write all web pages by simply creating a new card and allowing you to copy/paste the information in yourself. Also, I don't trust plug-ins that haven't been updated in over 3 years.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Odie-Coyote, 2 years agoI pretty much have switched to us Privacy.com as much as possible. I usually spend north of $1K each month using my various Privacy cards. Most of the time, everything works fine, but sometimes if Privacy doesn't update the balance from my checking account, it'll show denied for insuficent funds. This can be aggravating, but it's usually fixed by the following day. It hasn't caused a huge issue where the benefits outweigh this annoyance. Knowing that if a site I have payment information gets hacked, and they don't have a card that I would have to replace and then go through the hassle of updating card info on numberous other sites is a huge lifesaver and a massive perk.

- Rated 5 out of 5by meramsey, 2 years agoExcellent Firefox addon for Privacy.com customers looking to automatically use new virtual cards for each ecommerce site with no nonsense and easy to use flow.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Billy, 3 years agoWhen you sign up for their service, a few days later they SPAM YOU trying to drive downloads of this addon, and they don't provide any opt-out. You're just their captive prop used to juice their metrics. So here's 1-star for their shady practices.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14032801, 3 years agoMostly works for what it needs to. It has been a surprisingly long time since this extension was last updated. Would love to see some improvements in the form-filling abilities of the extension and an icon theme with inverted colors for when using the extension in Firefox configured for Dark Mode.
