Privacy policy for peek for Gmail
peek for Gmail by Sam Bent
peek for Gmail does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. It has nothing to store.
What it does: when your browser navigates to a Gmail attachment link, the browser itself changes one query parameter in that address (disp=safe to disp=inline) so the attachment opens in the browser's viewer instead of downloading. The change is made by a static browser rule. peek contains no scripts, so it never reads your mail, page content, or addresses.
Network requests: peek makes zero network requests of its own.
Analytics and tracking: none. peek contains no analytics, telemetry or third-party code.
Permissions: declarativeNetRequest, to apply the one static rewrite rule; https://mail.google.com/*, so the rule applies only to Gmail attachment links.
