About this extension

PH GWA Calculator lets Filipino college and senior high school students work out their General Weighted Average without leaving the browser.

How it works
Click the toolbar icon, enter each subject's grade and units, and your GWA updates as you type. The formula is GWA = sum(grade x units) / sum(units), so a 5-unit subject counts more than a 1-unit one.

Features
- Three grading scales: the 1.0-5.0 scale (1.0 is highest), the 4.0 scale used by some universities, and DepEd percentage grading
- Live result, with the unrounded value shown too
- Typical Latin honors range shown on the 1.0-5.0 scale (cutoffs vary by school, so confirm with your registrar)
- Clear error messages when a grade or unit value is out of range
- Your subjects are saved on your device so they are still there next time
- Light and dark mode

Privacy
This add-on does not collect, store or send any personal data. Everything you enter stays in your browser's local extension storage and is never transmitted anywhere.
