- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12093425, 5 years agoExtension makes pinning/unpinning tabs quick & very easy—so much more convenient than right-clicking > Pin Tab.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Tom Smith, 6 years agoThanks for making this add-on! I use alt+p mostly because it's faster. Thanks again! :)
- Rated 5 out of 5by Effrimvee, 6 years agoI love an extension that does exactly what it says it's going to do, no more no less. This is exactly what I was looking for and does exactly what I need. That makes it perfect.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Patrice, 6 years agoThis extension seems work only on Windows, and not in Linux by the key combinaison ALT + P. Please, can you correct the extension, and I change my note.
//EDIT : it works now!Developer response
posted 6 years agoHello
In fact, I test on Linux first, it being my primary OS.
Please check one usecase: are you using 'Alt Gr' key (which often replaces the right Alt key on laptops) instead of Alt key? AltGr is not mapped to Alt in some Linux distributions.
Otherwise, can you provide more details? - Rated 5 out of 5by Michael Woffenden, 6 years agoVery nice, so easy to pin and unpin using the toolbar button!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13577151, 6 years agoAlt-P. Makes so much sense, this should come out of the box! Thanks for writing this add on!
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13533437, 7 years agoI'd give it 5 stars bc it does what it's supposed to, but having the long left-click on by default really threw me for a loop, couldn't figure out why it was happening. Maybe the default should be off for that, or perhaps even just a longer "hold down" time default.

posted 7 years agoI see your point. I agree that the default behaviour of long click often becomes confusing. Let me give some thought on this. - Rated 5 out of 5by Victor Onrust, 7 years agoWould like if there was a possibility to protect the tab!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12531918, 7 years agoThx again) Much better, but I still have unwanted pin when I'm using thumb drag on scroll bar.

You may want to check out the latest approach in v3.0 - long left click anywhere on the webpage to pin or unpin the tab.- Rated 5 out of 5by yadis7, 7 years ago

posted 7 years agoAs confirmed by Mozilla developers, the webextensions technology have limited features to ensure security of the browser. So, they will not implement the API required for 'double-click on tab' feature. Look here(https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1246706) and here(https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?format=default&id=1356949) for more details.
So, unfortunately, you should stop waiting for that feature. Meanwhile, may be the latest approach in v3.0 - long left click anywhere on the webpage to toggle - may suffice (or hopefully exceed) your needs.- Rated 4 out of 5by EcceNux, 7 years agoShortcut in new version doesn't work in Windows if "P" is a shortcut for the menu (e.g. in Polish menu).
Long press does seem to work for standard pages, thanks :-). Not ideal, so still hoping for customizable shortcut.Developer response
posted 7 years agoI settled on the Alt-P shortcut after a lot of trial and error. Unfortunately, my attempts were narrow, limited to English language. I will try to implement a customizable keyboard shortcut as soon as possible to alleviate this issue.
