PlayClean for TV 2 by Wjaas

PlayClean for TV 2 is an unofficial Firefox extension focused on one job: reducing video advertising in TV 2 Play.

TV 2 Play can deliver advertising through Yospace server-side ad insertion (SSAI), where the advertising is integrated into the playback flow rather than loaded like a traditional banner or separate ad request. PlayClean detects the observed Yospace playback-manifest flow and redirects it to the original media manifest provided in that request.

Features:
• Removes supported TV 2 Play video ads by redirecting the Yospace/SSAI manifest.
• Can block the separate pause-sponsorship request observed in TV 2 Play.
• Does not alter Widevine/DRM license handling.
• No analytics, telemetry, remote code or third-party libraries.
• No personal-data collection or transmission.
• Simple enable/disable control and local statistics.

Permissions are limited to the Firefox APIs and TV 2/Akamai hosts required for the extension's core function.

Compatibility can change if TV 2 changes its playback or advertising infrastructure. The extension is currently designed around the Yospace flow observed in TV 2 Play VOD playback.
