PRIVACY POLICY - Plex IMDb Enhancer

DATA COLLECTION:
This extension does NOT collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

DATA STORAGE (Local Only):
• OMDb API key - stored in browser sync storage (encrypted by Firefox)
• Plex token (optional) - stored in browser sync storage (encrypted by Firefox)
• Cached movie ratings - stored temporarily in browser local storage

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES:
• OMDb API (www.omdbapi.com) - used to fetch IMDb ratings
- Only movie titles and years are sent
- Subject to OMDb's privacy policy
- No personal information transmitted

• Plex API (optional) - fetches metadata from YOUR Plex server
- Communication is direct between extension and your server
- No data sent to external servers

PERMISSIONS USED:
• storage - to save your API key and preferences locally
• activeTab - to detect Plex pages and inject ratings
• scripting - to display ratings on Plex pages
• host_permissions - to communicate with OMDb API and Plex servers

NO ANALYTICS, NO TRACKING, NO ADS.

Your API keys never leave your browser except to authenticate with the services you configured.
