Pluto Security by Pluto Security
Pluto Security — Browser Extension Privacy Notice
Pluto Security is an enterprise security extension. It is deployed and managed by an
organization for its own workforce on managed devices, giving that organization
visibility into — and policy enforcement over — the AI tools used in the browser.
What the extension collects
- Browsing activity: the AI-related sites and web applications accessed (e.g. AI
assistants, coding copilots, and app builders), including the relevant URLs.
- Website content: the page and request content needed to identify the AI tool in use
and to enforce the organization's policy on it.
- Identifying information: the account (e.g. email address) signed in to those AI tools,
used to attribute usage and apply per-user policy.
How it is used
This data is sent only to the deploying organization's own Pluto Security tenant. It is
used solely to give that organization security visibility and to enforce its own policies
(for example, requiring a corporate account on approved AI platforms, or blocking
disallowed tools). It is not sold and is not used for advertising.
Who controls the data
The organization that deploys the extension is the data controller. Data handling,
retention, and access are governed by that organization's agreement with Pluto Security.
