- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19802465, 7 days agoThe biggest reason why anyone would want to use this add-on (ordering a playlist) is paywalled, which of course is not clearly indicated in the description, because the dev is as scummy as it gets.
Developer response
posted 7 days agoIt's absolutely not true. The features for Patreon are clearly highlighted with [only for our patrons] in the extension description, which anyone can check. The basic groups for organizing playlists are free, if you want extended features, you should become a patron. It takes time to update the extension every time YouTube changes internally.
Furthermore, the decision to keep some features for the Patreon version of PocketTube was made to ensure the long-term feasibility of the free version. - Rated 1 out of 5by Ghost, 22 days agoКонфліктує як мінімум з Ublock Origin.
* "PocketTube" (для налаштування плейлістів);
* створені мною групи плейлістів;
* "Плейлісти" (з плейлістамі, що не входять до груп).
Developer response
posted 22 days agoНе зрозуміло що саме конфліктує? Використовую обидва, чудово працює.
Дивно, можливо якісь тести на самому YouTube, поки не зрозуміло як це відтворити.
Чи відкривається сторінка з плейлистами https://www.youtube.com/feed/playlists можливо вона також через раз працює, тому і наш список не відображаеться - Rated 5 out of 5by xXInfinityAuraXx, a month agothis extension is really useful, even in the free version! just a quick question: I noticed that the playlist length disappeared from playlists (it was what I used the most). has it been removed? thanks in advance :)
Developer response
posted a month agoIt was not removed, it's still available on the playlist page. Try to disable other extensions, maybe it's a conflict. If not, please reach out to us at hello@pockettube.io with the link to the playlist, and we'll investigate the issue. Developer response

Thank you so much!

posted a month agoThanks so much! So glad PocketTube has been helpful to you, and really appreciate this awesome feedback! - Rated 3 out of 5by Bright-FF, a month agoIt is a dev's right to set his own price - but it is a consumers right to express what they think about it. And I have to agree; 3$ is steep. I pay 3$ a month for a debrid service which provides unlimited, full-speed downloads, and now the same price for an extension in maintenance?
Would give three stars, but unfortunately:
- The one feature I need is paywalled
- The "delete watched video" button doesn't delete all watched videos, it deletes all STARTED videos. What's done is done, still not great.
But fortunately it is licensed openly, meaning I can just patch out the paywall and fix the logic how I need it, which is a plus, so we're back at three stars I guess.Developer response

Developer response
posted 2 months agoWhat? It's not clear what you mean exactly. It's a YouTube feature to add a video to a playlist, we're adding search and sort to the pop-up. - Rated 3 out of 5by kk, 2 months agoplease, if you're doing paid features, don't show them for non paid users. it's like always having a button "disable ads" in a mobile game, takes up space
Developer response
posted 2 months agoSorry to hear it, however, paid features are not ads. Our users should know where paid features are located and how it's working. If you're interested only in free features, you can ignore paid features, we are not pushing you to buy. - Rated 1 out of 5by DisplayName, 4 months agoPaywalled.
I should have read the other reviews before trying it, I guess.
I understand that you want money for it, but then put it in the first line of the description.
Most people don't want to pay for an extension, so you are just creating suffering.Developer response

EDIT: "RYS — Remove YouTube Suggestions" was conflicting with this addon.Developer response
posted 4 months agoIt's showing in "You" sections. Try to disable other extensions, you have a conflict if not see it. - Rated 5 out of 5by Chantelle, 4 months agoThis is no longer showing up on my sidebar. Has that feature been paywalled? If so, I guess this is the end of the line for me.
Edit: Unhook (because of the ever-annoying Youtube UI changes) the remove "Explore, Trending" was blocking this and my playlists from showing up. Seems fine. So long as this remains free it gets a 5*Developer response
posted 4 months agoThank you for sharing! Yes, it can be. It was a YouTube update 2 days ago, they swapped Subscriptions and the You section. I suspect the Unhook extension can hide items/blocks wrongly after that - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19585931, 4 months ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Thondush, 4 months agoPaywalled options in a extensions should not be a thing, specially if it is one of your main options.

- Rated 5 out of 5by homeslice01, 5 months agoMust have extension for ADHD, OCD, and "Watch Later" hoarders alike.
It's definitely worth paying for the premium in my case, and it works great. My YouTube account will be old enough to drink next year. I've ADHD'd the "Watch Later" playlist up to the 5k limit many, many times.
Will I ever watch the countless videos I've moved and sorted off of that list with this extension? Probably not, but I like having the option.Developer response

- Rated 2 out of 5by TigerNightmare, 5 months agoWorkarounds for YouTube's terrible, constantly devolving UI always result in someone trying to cash in with something that automates things you can already do, just with more ease of use. The first thing I tried to do was move some watch later videos to a different playlist, so I clicked the checkboxes for the videos, then I clicked on the Save to Playlist button and nothing happened. I thought it was broken. What actually happens is tiny blue 'JOIN' text shows up in the bottom left corner that is extremely easy to miss if your sidebar menu is visible, which mine is, so it overlaps with stuff and makes it look cluttered before disappearing in a couple seconds.
Two actually functional things are the ability to delete videos from playlists in one click with the trash can button, and deleting a group of videos by selecting them, pressing the remove button, then confirming. Useful if you're really bad at removing videos from playlists, but a marginal convenience otherwise. Neither function works from a playlist sidebar when the YouTube player is visible, only from the playlist page.
Maybe it's better if you pay $3 a month/$30 a year, but I have no idea if it actually works, as YouTube breaks these things as often as they come out and I can't test it without paying, and even if it did, I can't really justify paying for saving a few extra clicks.Developer response

I am a Contributor (subscriber via Firefox) and NONE of my Groups/Subgroups are synchronized on Google Chrome (extension) or the Android app. This is unacceptable. I will maintain the subscription for now, awaiting the developer's justification regarding this synchronization failure. If the limitation is confirmed, I will cancel and change the rating to 1 star. If it is due to my poor configuration, I will retract and adjust the rating.
Developer response
posted 5 months agoWe don't have a Google Drive sync for playlist extension, the Android app for playlists doesn't exist. It's clear and wasn't mentioned anywhere in the description or the premium features list, which you see on the Patreon tab. If you need, you can export/import your playlist groups using a file. Just click on the extension icon and export/import your data between browsers. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13259883, 5 months agoThis add-on has been a game changer. Can't imagine using YouTube without it. However there seems to have been a recent change where you are now being forced again to scroll through all your playlists just to save a video to specific list instead of being able to search keyword for the exact name of the playlist you wanted. Nor are we given the option to save the video to multiple playlists before closing the window. I'm not sure if the hiccup is on YouTube's end or not but am wondering when the issue may be resolved?
Edit: To the developer who answered thank you for the clear and quick response! The search function on playlists is definitely back and I appreciate it. Gosh I wish YouTube would learn from their goof ups over the years instead of doubling down on them. Anyways I will continue to use and support the success of this extension and your team who works hard on it. Hopefully one day Firefox may add a reply button to make messaging a little bit easier.Developer response
posted 5 months agoThank you for sharing! The search was added to the new YouTube UI in extension version 2.17.7.
"Save the video to multiple playlists before closing the window" is an option provided by YouTube. They changed it for the new UI, and the extension can't fix it. I hope they change their minds. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19528167, 5 months ago
