- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19802465, 7 days agoThe biggest reason why anyone would want to use this add-on (ordering a playlist) is paywalled, which of course is not clearly indicated in the description, because the dev is as scummy as it gets.
Developer response
posted 7 days agoIt's absolutely not true. The features for Patreon are clearly highlighted with [only for our patrons] in the extension description, which anyone can check. The basic groups for organizing playlists are free, if you want extended features, you should become a patron. It takes time to update the extension every time YouTube changes internally.
Furthermore, the decision to keep some features for the Patreon version of PocketTube was made to ensure the long-term feasibility of the free version. - Rated 1 out of 5by Ghost, 22 days agoКонфліктує як мінімум з Ublock Origin.
* "PocketTube" (для налаштування плейлістів);
* створені мною групи плейлістів;
* "Плейлісти" (з плейлістамі, що не входять до груп).
Developer response
Developer response
posted a month agoAnd what? The paywall is working as expected. The basic groups for organizing playlists are free, if you want extended features, you should become a patron. It takes time to update the extension every time YouTube changes internally.

Developer response
posted 2 months agoWhat? It's not clear what you mean exactly. It's a YouTube feature to add a video to a playlist, we're adding search and sort to the pop-up. - Rated 1 out of 5by DisplayName, 4 months agoPaywalled.
I should have read the other reviews before trying it, I guess.
I understand that you want money for it, but then put it in the first line of the description.
Most people don't want to pay for an extension, so you are just creating suffering.Developer response

- Rated 1 out of 5by Ubeinn, 7 months agoThe features you'd want the most are blocked behind a paywall, so this is useless.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19231949, 8 months agoLiterally wanted this for one thing, to organize my watch later playlist by video length, and they paywalled it. With no mention on the download page that you need to pay. This is literally the first add-on I've ever been told I needed to pay for to use a feature. Really Scummy.
Developer response
posted 8 months agoScummy, really? I'm not cheating you. The link on Patreon is available on the extension download page. Why did not open it? Moreover, it's also mentioned in the description, please check the Sort playlist videos by duration [only for our patrons]
https://web.archive.org/web/20250629144652/https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/pockettube-youtube-playlist/
So did you blame me without any reason? Why did you scum me in your review, little guy, who's trying to innovate?
I am not a big corporation. We all like free stuff. But in a world where everything is free, we are the product. It's a world where big corporations have all the power because they are the only ones who can afford to offer "free" services. Is that in our interest? - Rated 1 out of 5by kazerniel, 8 months agoPlaylist filtering (the only reason I got this addon) is paywalled... Tip to dev: Maybe indicate clearly on the addon page which features are paywalled to avoid user disappointment and low reviews.

Edit: Not true ? Then what's the popup lead to the ads on Youtube of your other addon ? A joke ?
Stop lying.Developer response
posted 10 months agoThat's not true, our extension is ad-free. Maybe you have other extensions causing that behavior. We don't add external ads or replace native YouTube ads.
Edit: If you were referring to our other add-on, it's not an external ads, it's part of our own ecosystem. PocketTube includes two extensions: one for managing subscriptions and another for playlists. If the other add-on isn’t relevant to you, you can simply close the popup, there’s no pressure.
The popup you saw is part of our onboarding flow. We also use it to inform users about new features. We focus on building features our users love and rely on every day.
If you’re not comfortable with our approach, you’re welcome to remove the extension. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18983384, a year ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by uzu, a year agoslows down youtube by a lot and moving videos between playlists is a patreon exclusive.
Developer response
posted a year agoThe extension doesn't have any impact on videos. Try to disable other extensions, I suspect you have a conflict with other extensions. Patreon exclusive features are mentioned in the description, so what is the point? - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18805677, a year ago
