Privacy policy for Polyreader
Polyreader by Naftali Beder
This policy governs the data usage and handling of Polyreader.
1. Information collected
Polyreader collects the following personal data:
Email address.
Personal Kindle email address.
Article data, including url, title, author, and full text. (Article content is stored so that you may build and send collections of articles.)
Timestamps of user account creation, user sign-in and sign-out, each article save, and each collection send.
2. Information usage
Polyreader uses the collected data to improve our service, respond to inquiries, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Information sharing
Polyreader does not sell your data or share any data with third-party service providers. Polyreader may disclose your data, with your consent, for legal compliance or in the event of a business transfer.
4. Data security
Your data is stored in a password-protected database on a password-protected Linode server. Passwords are encrypted, and only the hashes are stored.
5. Data control
You can access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. You may delete your account and all associated data by emailing support@polyreader.app. You may opt out of Polyreader marketing and transactional email on your settings page.
6. Children's privacy
Polyreader is not for users under 13. It does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
7. Changes to this policy
Polyreader may update this policy to reflect changes in its practices and app features. Previous changes are listed below:
