Presearch is no longer a safe search engine:
2 years without an update for this addon extension and the last about 2 years for Presearch in general has been directing their ad redirects when you click on a website that shows in the search results the ad website goes through an old virus website before redirecting to the site you were clicking on in the link, so who knows if your private data and what not is being sold, it pops up on my end as a 404 page but I have ad blockers and other stuff because of crud like this being pulled in this day and age and I advise everyone to use it as the internet just gets worse and worse. Granted this was a couple days ago that I reported the site and info to Firefox and also a couple times in the past if memory serves which still Firefox hasn't done anything about it in fact all report of other addons that were proven unsafe and I gave concrete proof was still never addressed, tells you to look out for yourself and when something doesn't seem right then don't keep using it because companies don't care about your safety, heck even Qwant search claims it doesn't sell your data and is all safe but guess what from time to time I get a cookie popup so what does that you that they aren't being truthful, yep like I said don't trust any company anymore nobody is legit anymore, at least with duckduckgo and prviacy badger addon it shows nothing so that search engine might the safest one left all the others lie even Qwant had stuff being blocked through privacy badger same with Presearch, Presearch privacy badger blocks: js.hcaptcha.com in Yellow 1 potential trackers blocked, Qwant privacy badger blocks: sdk.privacy-center.org in Yellow potential trackers blocked and there might be stuff privacy badger didn't find that is more hidden and evasive we all know the practices being used nowadays they aint fooling anyone. - Rated 5 out of 5by Private006, 6 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Derpa, a year agoIf it means I have my privacy intact and no one, especially those who cooperate with governments to *expose my privacy*, then this is the search engine I want and use, and you should too.
It gets the job done just as well as that privacy invading google garbage and and even gives you the opportunity to use the google garbage finds if you wish. That's true honesty, something google has no clue about or cares about. - Rated 5 out of 5by BHAGATT, a year ago

When I entered, a token used to be around $0.30, and you gained 0.1 tokens per search. At the time, I calculated that in approximately 1 year users will be able to cash out around $200 worth of PRE token.
Since then, they nerfed the tokens per search to 0.01 PRE and the price per token dived to around $0.02. Which means... Roughly 11 years of searches for $20.
