Overview
Prismium AI is committed to protecting your privacy. This extension operates with a privacy-first approach and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers.

Data Collection
We do NOT collect:

Personal information
Browsing history
Search queries
Login credentials
Cookies or tracking data
Analytics or usage statistics
NO DATA STORAGE: This extension does not store any data on our servers. All processing happens locally in your browser.

Third-Party Services
When you use the AI features, your queries are sent directly from your browser to the following third-party AI services:

Google Gemini API

Domain: generativelanguage.googleapis.com
Privacy Policy: https://ai.google.dev/terms
Used for: AI-powered responses
Groq API

Domain: api.groq.com
Privacy Policy: https://groq.com/privacy-policy/
Used for: Alternative AI model responses
Important: These services may have their own data collection practices. Please review their privacy policies.

Optional Data Sharing
The extension includes optional features that you can enable on a per-query basis:

"Include Page Text" - Sends visible text from the current webpage to the AI for context
"Include Screenshot" - Sends a screenshot of the visible page to the AI for analysis
Both features are:

OFF by default
Require manual activation for each query
Only send data when explicitly enabled by you
Data goes directly to the AI service (Google Gemini or Groq)
Permissions Explained
Required Permissions:

activeTab - Access the current tab to inject the sidebar interface
scripting - Inject the sidebar UI into web pages
storage - Save your preferences (selected AI model) locally in your browser
Host Permissions:

https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com/ - Communicate with Google Gemini API
https://api.groq.com/ - Communicate with Groq API
Data Transmission
All AI requests are sent directly from your browser to the AI service
We do NOT have any backend servers
We do NOT intercept or log your queries
We do NOT have access to your conversations
API Keys
The extension includes demo API keys for the AI services. These are:

Pay-as-you-go keys
Rate-limited (generous)
Publicly available in the source code
Used only for making direct API calls from your browser
Security
All connections to AI services use HTTPS encryption
No data is stored locally except your model preference
No third-party analytics or tracking scripts
Open source code available for review
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our GitHub repository and the extension's listing page.
