It was a primary go-to to confirm which sites to block with my other blocker technologies. It now seems so "dumbed down" that I am going to disabled it across all my device. I just don't see it taking a stand and blocking. All kinds of sites that clearly provide beacons, ads, etc. (as evident right from the site name! or that use to be blocked!) "don't appear" to be tracking or "we haven't made up our minds", or what ever other wimp-out lawyer speak is used now. Toughen up. Or get out of the race.

posted 2 days agoIt sounds like you think Privacy Badger isn't learning to block some domains that you think it ought to learn to block. To get help or to report bugs, please email extension-devs@eff.org
We work to gradually expand the reach of Privacy Badger's pre-trained list. You can read more about this at https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2023/10/privacy-badger-learns-block-ever-more-trackers - Rated 5 out of 5by Wald007, 4 days ago

posted 15 days agoThank you, but you shouldn't have to customize PB, it's more of an install and forget (unless it breaks the site) kind of extension. Feel free to email extension-devs@eff.org with any questions.- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19075115, 15 days ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15149385, 16 days agoWell said, and I agree 100% with the user's review below. I have supported (by monthly donation) the work by EFF for years, and I am about to restore it (new mop).
His/Her review:
"Privacy Badger is a must-have extension for anyone serious about protecting their privacy online. Developed by the Electronic Frontier Foundation, it's both trustworthy and effective. I really appreciate how it automatically learns to block invisible trackers without breaking websites, unlike some other blockers that need constant tweaking."
"The interface is clean and easy to use, and I love that it respects user autonomy—it doesn’t rely on predefined lists but intelligently reacts to tracking behavior. It runs quietly in the background, doing its job without slowing down my browsing experience."
"This is one of those rare add-ons that just works. Huge thanks to the EFF team for making a free, open-source tool that empowers users to take control of their data."
"Highly recommended!"
