Extension Metadata
About this extension
Privacy Inspector is a compact local sidebar for privacy audits. It captures cookie and Set-Cookie metadata, redirect chains, selected request headers, Firefox tracking classifications, and Local and Session Storage. Cookie and storage values can be revealed per entry in the sidebar; they are held only in the open sidebar and never appear in exports, where local SHA-256 hashes detect changes instead. Every read reports whether it succeeded, so a failed read is never shown as an empty result. Consent snapshots compare added, changed and deleted state. Freeze preserves an immutable audit snapshot across tab switches and navigation. Pause applies per tab and Off globally. Recording runs only while the sidebar or connected Hub is active. TXT/DOCX exports are created only on user action. Everything stays local: no server, telemetry or data sharing.
