- Rated 3 out of 5by Pit, 4 years agoI wanted to try to register to 9gag.com using relay and the address is blocked.
I really didn't want to write a review yet as I couldn't play with it enough, but this is the only way to contact you. - Rated 3 out of 5by Tyler Regas, 4 years agoNice. I like the idea. I get the idea of having just a few while they're testing it, but I don't understand why the data on the site (i.e., your aliases) don't show up in the add-on. All we get it this crummy features slider and no way to turn it off or even make the tool usable, aside from trying to jam that huge logo into a small text field. I look forward to simple improvements.
- Rated 4 out of 5by bloodbuzz, 4 years agoFirst issue encountered today. Tried to change my email with Craigslist but was unable to.
Craigslist required confirmation from old and new email addresses. Old email address received the confirmation request and this was confirmed.
However, Firefox relay forwarded (as it is supposed to) the new "relay" email. So when I tried to confirm it, it only showed the old email to Craigslist.
I wonder if this issue will occur with other site that I want to change my email to the "relay" email?
See below:
We have received a request to change the email address associated with your craigslist account.
If you did not request this change, please log in and change your password.
Old address:---------hotmail.com
New address:--------relay.firefox.com
You will need to confirm this change from both the old address and the new address.
You have 60 minutes to submit both confirmations.

Only complaint is when in settings -Show relay icon in email fields on websites is turned off, it turns back on when browser is reopened. Sometimes the icon has prevented me from entering sites that already have a user name/password saved to it.

We've heard about this from a couple of folks now and are investigating. Thanks for the feedback. - Rated 4 out of 5by ohm3ro, 4 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by PeteJH, 4 years agoGood concept, but only 5 aliases means it is not of any practical use just yet. To be fair, it is still in beta and does have an "Experimental" tag.
The icon added to email fields interferes with my password manager. The "Show Relay icon in email fields on websites" setting allows you to disable this feature. Unfortunately, it resets to enabled every time you restart the browser.Developer response

We're working on a product that expands upon the 5 email aliases. We wanted to assess interest in this type of service before we invested in a more complete offering. We have logged issues for instances where our icon interferes with other password managers and the issues with the setting not persisting across browser restarts. Thanks for being an early adopter of Relay and finding value in it. - Rated 3 out of 5by Tom, 4 years agoI can't enter text in the email field on this page when the extension is installed. Apparently reviews are the only way to send feedback like this? https://public.viavid.com/player/index.php?id=140568

posted 4 years agoWe are logging sites where we are not working. Thanks for being an early adopter.- Rated 3 out of 5by jaxx, 4 years agorelay icon next to email field is in the tab navigation order between login and password field on some sites. Sadly this breaks my password manager. Please consider to rework this behavior.
Thx for the reply, I'm using Keepass 2.x But it should be the same with every password manager which uses Keyboard emulation.Developer response
posted 4 years agoWe're working on a fix for this issue. Would you be willing to update your feedback to let us know what password manager you use? - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16208230, 4 years agoA great concept, but a few kinks to work out. I created an alias tonight (at 7:43pm MDT on Aug 9) and the date shows Aug 10, so perhaps relay.firefox.com is only showing UTC? Would be great if it were localized. Additionally, 5 free aliases is great for free, but a service like this really depends heavily on the ability to create unlimited aliases... I hope that that feature will be reasonably priced.
Developer response
posted 4 years agoWow - great catch. We'll look into this. Localization is definitely on our roadmap (would love to know what locales you are interested in). We are working on an offering with more aliases. - Rated 1 out of 5by Austin, 4 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13163623, 4 years agoRelay is great. however Apple iCloud doesn't seem to accept forwarded emails from the relay. so atm I would advise others not to use it with their Apple iCloud Accounts. (Spam filter?) emails aren't even showing up in junk so apple is straight up denying these emails in from the relay.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15298357, 4 years agoJust one little problem. I can't login to my Wolfram account (account.wolfram.com) with the extension enabled. Weird.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Tanmay_bhat, 4 years agoAs of today unable to sign up on kickresume. it says "looks like disposable address"
Developer response
posted 4 years agoThanks for the feedback. I've added kickresume to an issue where we are recording sites that are blocking relay addresses. (https://github.com/mozilla/fx-private-relay/issues/559) - Rated 4 out of 5by dominik, 4 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Smii, 4 years agoNice Idea and it works very well! But I'd like to create more than five aliases. Hope this is possible in the future!
