Reviews for Productive Cycles
Productive Cycles by Diego Serrano

by Lili Griffin, 4 years agoI downloaded this pomodoro timer after the last one I had got a little too intrusive for my liking. The setup is nice, but the actual timer isn't working properly. Each second is passing at about a third of the time it should be. I just finished a 25 minute cycle in just over 5 minutes. I don't know if this issue is just on my computer, but I will be uninstalling this add on and trying another instead.

posted 4 years agoHi Lili. Thank you for the feedback and sorry you experienced this with the timer.
I have narrowed down the cause to a routine operation that normally makes sure there are no delays. This has been fixed as of version 0.5.0, and automated tests are now in place so that this does not occur in a future release either. I would like to invite you to try Productive Cycles again, and hopefully you can have a better experience this time.
Also, please feel free to reach out to the contact information listed in the add-on page with any other comments, concerns or suggestions.

If you want to use it for other types of cycles, depending of which, It may not be as straight forward.
Assuming that I didn't miss the option; is not possible to make greater than 59 minute cycles. Meaning that is not directly compatible with the 90 minute rule. There's some workarounds to this, one being setting the cycle to 45m and the break to 30m, doing two 45m cycles, skipping one break and taking the next one; repeating this each time. And remembering when to take the break by each pair number of total cycles.
Overall; It's a beautiful, minimalist, and easy-to-use pomodoro timer. - Rated 1 out of 5by AlanBrito98z, 2 years agopor más que activo la opción de notificaciones y sonido nunca suena cuando termina el tiempo, a veces tampoco me deja iniciarlo, tengo que desintalarlo y volverlo a agregar
