PromptTube adds fast prompt workflows directly to YouTube watch pages. Pick a prompt template, then copy the full transcript plus video context (title, channel, URL) in one click for ChatGPT or any LLM. It includes built-in templates for summary, analysis, actions, fact-checking, study notes, executive briefs, and critique, and you can fully customize them in a dedicated Settings page by editing, adding, removing, or resetting prompts.

Prompt settings are easy to access from the YouTube action bar, and your custom prompts are saved with sync support when available (storage.sync, with local fallback). PromptTube automatically tries to open the transcript panel and falls back to YouTube caption tracks when needed. All processing happens locally in your browser: no account, no backend, no tracking, and no transcript data sent to external servers.
