    Powerful VPN addon that costs a pretty penny. Can be blocked by ISPs however so you won't be able to use it in all situations. Would be nice if it had a way to attempt to connect to unblocked server IPs and report blocked attempts so Proton can continue to provide a great service.

    Thank you for your review. The default Connect option will always attempt to connect you to the most optimal server for you. That said, our team is working hard on improving our infrastructure so that all our users are able to connect with ease. We will continue to make more improvements to enhance service availability despite any blocking attempts.

    The free extension is frustrating, time consuming, does not choose the same country server as the PC installation & changes your PC local time to that of the server. Tech support wants pics & all the hairy details to solve simple, common problems. With every biz wanting fee for service, the public is getting nickled & dimed to death to give a CEO gas for their Bentley!

    Works like a charm. It sometimes makes websites run a little weird but I think that's just a function of the VPN being more private than the website would like. Ex: Microsoft Copilot

    v1.2.10 freezes every connection after wakeup from sleep on Windows, have to disable addon to get it working again.

    Works perfectly for a few minutes, then it simply freezes, both the extension and the entire connection. You can only fix this by disabling the extension. But when you enable it again, this happens again. And the only way to restore it is to completely reinstall it, only for this to happen again a few minutes later.
