About this extension
ProxyHub Per-Tab Proxy lets every Firefox tab use a different proxy from your ProxyHub account — or none at all. Connect one tab to a Dhaka proxy and another to Singapore, while your other tabs stay on your normal connection.
  • A different proxy in every tab — connect a proxy to the current tab only. New tabs start without a proxy.
  • One-click connect — all active proxies on your ProxyHub account are listed in the toolbar popup.
  • See your exit IP — check which IP address websites see for each tab.
  • Live stats per tab — speed, data used, average response time and connection time.
  • Search — find a proxy by name, IP address or port. The proxy used by the current tab is always shown first.
  • Auto-pick best — connects the tab to the fastest proxy with no recent errors, and spreads tabs across your proxies.
  • No silent leaks — if a proxy stops responding, or it expires or is suspended on your account, that tab is paused instead of quietly going direct. You choose: retry, pick another proxy, or go direct.
  • IP badge (optional) — a small badge in the bottom-left corner of proxied pages shows the proxy name and exit IP. You can turn it off in Settings.
  • Easy sign-in — use your password or a one-time code sent by email. If you switch tabs to read the email, the code box is still there when you reopen the popup.
  1. Click the ProxyHub icon in the toolbar and sign in with your ProxyHub account.
  2. Open the tab you want to protect.
  3. Click Connect on one of your proxies. The toolbar badge shows ON for that tab.
  4. Click Disconnect to send the tab back to your normal connection.
  • Your sign-in details are sent only to ProxyHub (proxyhub.net).
  • Proxy usernames and passwords are never shown in the popup. They are kept in the extension's session storage and are cleared when Firefox closes.
  • Speed and data numbers are measured in your browser and are not sent anywhere.
  • To show the exit IP, the extension asks api.ipify.org which IP it sees. That request goes through the tab's proxy.
  • The extension does not read or change the content of the pages you visit. The only thing it adds is the optional IP badge.

You need a ProxyHub account with at least one active SOCKS5 proxy. Get one at proxyhub.net.

Speed and data numbers are estimates, based on the information Firefox gives extensions.
