The webextension just gets the selected string and when it corresponds to a buildid string "YYYYMMDDHHMMSS", then a search query containing the buildid is sent to https://buildhub.prod.mozaws.net to get information about the corresponding build (mercurial revisions on which it has been built).
No user data are collected or stored.
