Qarta — Privacy Policy (Firefox)

Qarta is made by REPECH ("we"). In short: your prompts and chats are never sent to us. We only receive personal information when you buy Qarta Pro or write to us. Full policy (English / Japanese): https://repech.com/qarta/privacy

1. Your prompts are stored in Firefox's extension sync storage (storage.sync). If you use Firefox Sync with Add-ons turned on, Firefox syncs them through Mozilla's servers under Mozilla's privacy notice. They are never sent to us. If the sync storage fills up, further prompts are kept only on the computer you saved them on.
2. Your chat library. Auto-save is on from the start — the first-run page says so, and one switch there turns it off. While it is on, on the AI chat sites Qarta supports, Qarta reads the conversation you currently have open and saves a copy (title, messages, page address, time saved) so you can search it later. It is kept only in your own browser on your own computer (IndexedDB) — never synced and never uploaded. Official data exports you import are read inside your browser and stored the same way. You can turn saving off, delete any chat, or remove everything by removing Qarta.
3. Small settings (such as which AI sites a prompt opens in, a usage count, and what you last typed into a template's blanks) are kept in local storage on your own computer only.
4. Where it runs: only on chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com and www.perplexity.ai — and on grok.com, copilot.com and copilot.microsoft.com only if you allow each one. There it inserts the prompts you choose and saves the on-screen conversation as described above.
5. Network: Qarta makes two kinds of request. To ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com), to check whether you have Qarta Pro — it sends an anonymous key ExtensionPay assigned to this installation, never your prompts or chats. And, at most twice a day, to repech.com for a small data file of updated page locations for the supported AI sites — it sends nothing about you. No analytics, tracking, advertising or remotely hosted code.
6. Qarta Pro purchases are handled by ExtensionPay and its card processor, Stripe. We never receive your card details. Through ExtensionPay we receive your email address, plan, and payment status and dates, which we use to provide Qarta Pro, answer billing questions and keep the records the law requires.
7. When you remove Qarta, Firefox opens a short, optional survey page on repech.com. Its address carries only the extension version and your display language; if you submit it, we receive only the reason you pick and any comment you write.
