Privacy Policy — QR Code Generator (KoloQR)

KoloQR is a browser extension that generates customizable QR codes. It runs entirely on your device and is designed so that your data never leaves it.

THE SHORT VERSION
We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. There are no servers, no accounts, and no tracking.

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT
None. KoloQR does not collect any personal or usage data, including:
- No personally identifiable information (name, email, address, etc.)
- No content you enter (URLs, text, contact details, Wi-Fi credentials)
- No location data
- No browsing history or activity
- No analytics, telemetry, or usage statistics
- No cookies or advertising identifiers

HOW YOUR INPUT IS HANDLED
Everything you type into KoloQR (text, URL, email, phone number, Wi-Fi details) is processed locally in your browser to render the QR code. It is never sent to us or to any third party. The only things kept are on your own device: the codes you download or copy, so they appear in History.

WORKS FULLY OFFLINE
KoloQR requires no network connection. All code, fonts, and assets are bundled inside the extension. It does not load or execute any remote code.

PERMISSIONS
- clipboardWrite: used only to copy the QR code you generated to your clipboard when you choose "Copy to Figma". The extension never reads your clipboard.
- storage: keeps the History of QR codes you downloaded or copied (up to 50) and your settings. This data never leaves your browser and is removed when you uninstall the extension.

THIRD PARTIES
KoloQR does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with anyone, because no data is collected.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
KoloQR does not collect data from anyone, including children.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here with a revised "Last updated" date.
