QR codes are created and read entirely inside your browser. Page addresses, screen captures and images you scan are processed locally and discarded. History and settings are kept in your browser's local storage, and you can turn history off or clear it at any time.

The only network request the add-on makes is to fetch an image you right-clicked from the website that hosts it, so it can be scanned. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party.
