About this extension
Quick Cite helps you capture a neat citation from any page with a single click. It looks for selected text when available and combines it with the page title and URL using a format you control. The default format quotes your selection and appends the title and link. You can change this behavior at any time from the Options page.
Open the popup to preview and copy, or right-click and choose Copy citation from the context menu. The extension injects a lightweight content script only when you ask it to, keeping permissions narrow and activity minimal. There are no remote scripts, no analytics, and no network requests beyond the WebExtensions APIs needed to function.
If you frequently save references, notes, or clippings for research and social posts, Quick Cite keeps the workflow fast and consistent while staying out of your way.
