About this extension
Was your train late? Railhop helps UK train passengers claim Delay Repay. Free to check delays. This extension is the part that fills in the train company's form for you.

On railhop.app, open the claim for a delayed or cancelled train and press "Fill in {train company}'s form for me". Railhop opens the train company's own Delay Repay form in a new tab and types in your journey, ticket and contact details, and attaches the ticket photo or TfL statement you chose. While it works, a Railhop box shows each step as it's done. If the form needs something Railhop doesn't have, like your ticket number, it asks you in the box and puts your answer into the form. When it's your turn (signing in, fixing something the form flagged, the last step), the box steps aside and points at the right place on the page.

Add your bank account or PayPal email once, on the payment step, and Railhop fills it in there and next time, for the train companies whose payment pages it knows. Then it presses that page's Continue to take you to the final check. Your details are kept on your computer only, encrypted, and unlocked each time with Windows Hello, Touch ID or a PIN. Or untick "Save to auto fill next time" to fill just that form and keep nothing.

You stay in charge:
  • You check the form, tick "I'm not a robot" and press Submit yourself, on the train company's own form. Railhop never submits a claim.
  • Stop is always one click away, and "Your Claim Details" lists every value with a Copy button.
  • It never fills passwords or card numbers, never signs in or creates accounts for you, and never touches "I'm not a robot" checks. The only payment fields it fills are the bank account or PayPal email you saved, after you unlock them.
  • It works only on railhop.app and the claim forms of the train companies it knows: Avanti West Coast, c2c, Caledonian Sleeper, Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, Gatwick Express, Grand Central, Great Northern, Greater Anglia, GWR, Heathrow Express, Hull Trains, LNER, London Northwestern Railway, Lumo, Merseyrail, Northern, ScotRail, Southeastern, Southern, South Western Railway, Thameslink, TransPennine Express, Transport for Wales and West Midlands Railway. It only fills a form in the tab Railhop opened for that claim.

Private by design:
  • Your claim goes from the Railhop page in your browser to the train company's form. It is never sent to Railhop's server.
  • Your payment details stay on your computer, encrypted. Railhop never sees them. They go only into the train company's own payment form, when you ask.
  • Once the train company confirms your claim, its reference is passed back to your Railhop page so it's saved with your claim. Nothing else about the claim goes back.
  • The claim is kept only with its tab and is gone when you close the tab or your browser. The extension remembers, in your browser, whether you have an account with each train company.
  • Cookie banners on the train company's form: Railhop declines optional cookies where the site lets it. Otherwise it accepts the site's notice so the form can be filled.
  • No adverts, no analytics, no tracking. The only request it makes to Railhop asks whether form filling is switched on, and carries none of your details.

Your TfL statement: on railhop.app's "Check your TfL statement", press "Get My Statement from TfL". Railhop opens TfL's contactless website in a new tab, and you sign in there yourself. If you have several cards, click the one you travel with. Railhop then takes your Journey history statement for the last 28 days from TfL, closes the tab and checks it for delays on your Railhop page. It acts on TfL's website only in that tab and only when you ask, and it never sees or keeps your TfL password. Your statement isn't sent to Railhop's server.

Optional: tick "When I save a TfL statement PDF, offer to check it with Railhop" in the extension's options. Then a statement you download from TfL brings a "Check this statement with Railhop" notification. It looks only at the download's web address and file type, never at the file.

Railhop is independent. It isn't affiliated with any train company, TfL or National Rail.
