- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18569071, 10 days agoUsing Firefox with add-ons has been a great experience for me, offering a personalized and efficient browsing experience. Here's a breakdown of how I feel about it:
1. Customizability and Efficiency
Firefox’s support for a wide range of add-ons really enhances the browser. You can install extensions for ad-blocking, privacy, productivity, accessibility, and more. I personally appreciate the flexibility it provides in tailoring the browser to my specific needs. For example:
Ad-blockers like uBlock Origin make browsing cleaner and faster by blocking intrusive ads.
Privacy tools like Privacy Badger ensure that trackers are blocked, helping to maintain online anonymity.
Password managers like Bitwarden integrate seamlessly to handle passwords securely.
2. Performance Impact
Some add-ons can slow down the browser a bit, especially when you have several installed at once. I noticed that resource-heavy extensions, like those that block scripts or handle heavy-duty content filtering, can slightly increase page load times. However, Firefox does a good job of managing system resources, and add-ons like uBlock Origin tend to reduce clutter and improve performance in the long run. - Rated 4 out of 5by Cr8zy_Ivan, 2 years agoThe Add-On works on Amazon as well as Netflix. Some ratings (maybe 10%?) are different from what is shown on IMDB however. But, out of 5 other Add-Ons tested, this is by far the best.
