About this extension
Redacto detects personally identifiable information (names, email addresses, phone numbers, credit card numbers, etc.) in text before you paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. All detection runs locally in your browser—no data is sent anywhere. The extension shows you what it found and lets you replace it with placeholders before the text leaves your device. Assistive only; not a compliance tool.
