This extension does not use the official Reddit API, and it does not talk to Reddit servers in any way. This extension requests archived contents from the Arctic Shift API. More information about the Arctic Shift API is available on its GitHub page: https://github.com/ArthurHeitmann/arctic_shift/.

The only data stored by the extension are the settings chosen by the user on the extension's options page. The settings are stored using the browser local storage API, and do not leave the user's device.

When a Reddit comments page is opened, this extension reads the contents to find the post and comment IDs which have some or all of their content deleted. If deleted content is found, then the extension sends a request to the Arctic Shift API to retrieve the deleted parts. The only data sent to the Arctic Shift API are:

1. The IDs of deleted posts and comments on the current page
2. Which post fields are deleted (author, body, title)
3. Which comment fields are deleted (author, body)

No other data is stored, collected, or transmitted by this extension. This extension makes no attempt to track or fingerprint users.

The author of this extension does not operate or manage the Arctic Shift API.
