Reel Finder does not collect, store, sell or share any personal data.

What the extension accesses:
- Instagram pages you open. It runs only on www.instagram.com. It reads the profile grid (post links and thumbnails) and the post data Instagram's own page has already loaded, so it can show captions and dates.
- The author of a reel. When you click "Find in profile", it makes one request to Instagram, using your existing Instagram login, to find out who posted the reel.
- A link you paste into the popup. The extension stores it briefly in your browser's local extension storage so the Instagram tab can pick it up, then deletes it.

What it does not do:
- It does not send any data to the developer or any third party. The extension has no server.
- It does not use analytics, tracking, advertising or cookies of its own.
- It does not read your messages, passwords or account settings, and it does not post, like, follow or comment.
- It does not keep a history of the reels you search for.

Everything happens inside your browser. Uninstalling the extension removes its storage.
