In search the shorts are all over.

YouTube's new 'short' format looks terrible on the desktop. Google feels like an old company joylessly copying 3rd-party ideas. If they actually had people who enjoyed the work, they might have produced something immersive.

Anyway... I have not had to deal with the new shorts format since installing this extension. Nice!

Gets the job done, redirects to a normal video watch link on all shorts with minimal delay.

Exactly what I'm looking for. Enable 'allow video and audio' autoplay option in the address bar so the video will play on load.

Works as advertised for me (I also have other extensions on). My only wish would be for it to be open source, or have the source available
