The test sound works, but no sound is played when an actual ChatGPT reply finishes.

I tested Reply Chime 1.0.1 on Firefox/Ubuntu with:
- chatgpt.com access allowed
- autoplay explicitly set to “Allow Audio and Video”
- extension enabled
- replies longer than the configured threshold
- full Firefox restart

The “Test sound” button works, but real completed replies still produce no sound.

It looks like the extension may no longer be detecting ChatGPT’s current “reply finished generating” state correctly.

I hope the author can check compatibility with the current ChatGPT UI.

Thanks for the detailed report. You were right, v1.0.1 could fail to detect completed replies with the current ChatGPT UI, even though audio playback itself was working.

Version 1.0.2 updates the detection logic to handle several cases found during testing, including ChatGPT rebuilding the composer or changing routes when a new conversation starts, as well as interface languages that were not previously recognized.

I also tested the fix on Firefox/Ubuntu. If the issue still persists on your setup, it may be related to a different ChatGPT UI variant, account rollout, or interface experiment. Version 1.0.2 also adds a Debug mode that can help identify which detection path is being used.
