- Rated 1 out of 5by andario2007, 5 years agoIf you want a TRUE Firefox restart IN TWO CLICKS, do this:
1) Type about:restartrequired in your browser
2) Drag and drop that page to your toolbar
3) Click "Restart"
Done! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12192374, 5 years agolol...just close and reopen :( memory no return
- Rated 1 out of 5by Bernard, 5 years agoDisappointed. I want an icon, CLICK, and the browser shuts down and re-opens. When I lcick on the icon, a pop-up appears and tells me I don't have any saved sessions. Can't open Options.

- Rated 1 out of 5by os2baba, 6 years agoAs others have said, it doesn't really restart the browser. Just closes the windows and reopens them.
The only reason I'm looking a plugin is because the default Firefox behavior is broken. In the best case scenario, I can exit Firefox. And then after re-opening it, have to immediately restore previous session from history. If I exit the browser twice in succession, my "previous" session is gone.
This plugin would have been great if it would have actually restarted the browser. But it doesn't. Not without some additional paid application. - Rated 1 out of 5by Ouroborus, 6 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15125548, 6 years agoIt seems the add on does not really restart Firefox, so one can not free memory or restart not working Firefox processes. So "Restart Browser" is absolutely needless to me. And with each update and may be else, I have this message quite often, a message occurs to think about a donation (for such a tiny add on on) and a new tab is opened saying anything about Time Restart, an add on from the same developer obviously, although I do not even use it and do not want that add on.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12994872, 6 years agoThis thing does not actually restart your browser. It just closes and reopens all the tabs. Which means its basically useless for all cases where your browser process misbehaves and needs a restart.
The name is a lie.
What it's worse - it can not do the single one thing people actually want - activate the already browser-built-in restart function. Instead it gives you a steaming sh*pile of BS functions nobody needs, and which I never even tried.
@developer: Defaults are everything. In default mode this thing is useless. End of story. If you want to make it useful, put a restart option into the file menu, next to exit, and have it activate the browser restart function. Also make this default for your toolbar button. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14274504, 6 years agoWith version 67+ it doesn't work properly, it forces you to make the initial settings every time on method 1, too many clicks to restore or save the session first .... in short, once it was a good addon now it has lost its effectiveness in terms of practicality and time.

posted 6 years agoI do not understand what the problem is, do you have any suggestions? In method 1 you only need to save the configuration of your preferred sessions if you do not want to configure anything use method 2 or 3. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14944271, 6 years agoAfter every update an annoying message you have to click away. Donate for such a simple add on? Ridiculous.

posted 6 years agoSo you are using the addon for free and instead of coming to put a good review because you like it, you come to put a bad message because it bothers you. The problem has an easy solution, do not use it if it bothers you so much to see a message every time it is updated that it is almost never.
