Restyle for Twitch by Corentin Gautier
A calmer, more coherent look for twitch.tv: a quieter sidebar and chat, cleaner pages, a framed player, and your own colours. Nothing is added, and nothing is collected.

About this extension
Restyle for Twitch is a stylesheet layered over twitch.tv. It does not add features or change how Twitch works: it quiets the busy parts, gives the content more room, and makes the pages look like they belong to the same site.
What it changes
• Sidebar: smaller, quieter rows, with viewer counts aligned to the right. Stories and hover cards are gone.
• Home, Following and Browse: no autoplaying carousel, large shelf titles, rounded thumbnails, and cards that put the streamer's name first.
• Channel pages: a rounded, inset player and a centred column for the stream information and panels.
• Chat: muted messages that return to full contrast on hover, and no leaderboard above it.
• Menus, popups and dialogs: one consistent style, with borders instead of shadows.
Settings
Click the toolbar button. Changes apply at once, without reloading the page.
• Spacing: compact, airy or very airy.
• Themes: eight ready-made pairs of background and accent colours, dark and light.
• Accent and background colours: pick your own. Sidebars, chat, menus and text follow.
• Channel colours: on a channel's pages, take the accent from the channel's own colour, adjusted so text stays readable.
• Plain chat: hide badges and show every username in the text colour.
The settings are available in English and French.
Privacy
The add-on only runs on twitch.tv. It collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere. Its one permission, storage, is used to remember your settings.
Good to know
Twitch changes its pages without notice, so an update on their side can break part of the restyle. If something looks wrong, please open an issue with a screenshot: https://github.com/corentin-gautier/restyle-for-twitch/issues
Creator Dashboard is left untouched.
This is an unofficial project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Twitch.
