by Firefox user 14799992, 3 years agoIt works sometimes but isn't very accurate. It shows one total of likes and dislikes, then it switches to a completely different total after Youtube is completely loaded.
You can't blame the creators of this app though since they did their best, but Google consists of a sly bunch of pervs that need to know everything you do, every where you go and when you took your last dump, and will do anything to sabotage a program even if they don't have the right to interfere with other peoples property.
I have the similar issues with my Android phone. If I try to use Firefox instead of their spyware chrome app, my phone starts acting up and after a few days, it takes forever for Firefox to open, and the app size goes for 275 mb to over 700 mb, causing my phone to run slow as I get constant notification that my phone is running our of storage.
Hopefully Elon Musk will buy woke Google one day and put Google out of it's misery, but until then, you'll be sheep controlled by big brother Google every time you use any of their products.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Nicky McCurdy, 9 days agoThis extension is trying to monetize showing one bit of useful information on the page with intrusive ads and a premium tier.

Developer response
posted 10 days agoMonetization is needed, among other things, to pay for operating the extension.
Only advanced new features are paid - what you had for free is still free, and will always be free
All other extensions\apps with dislikes are using my API - with the api dying due to lack of funds - all other apps will die as well.
Unfortunately the extension requires quite a large database (~15TB) serivng 20 million unique daily users (chrome is not the only platform) - and it costs money.
The idea behind paid features was also to cover the costs (since donations became smaller than the hosting costs). Without bothering free users too much. Developer response

If that's the direction this add-on goes in aka locking key features behind a paywall - I'll remove this. I do get that an add-on like this can be pricey to maintain but this could have been handled better imo.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17670395, 12 days agoI no longer trust the developer after an intrusive advertisement was added. I am going to find another way to view dislikes or none at all.
Developer response
posted 12 days agoYeah, sorry about that. The changelog tab was supposed to be shown on browser restart - i.e be much less intrusive. - Rated 1 out of 5by Simon, 13 days agoDodgy shenanigans are going on with this extension for Chrome, with pop under adverts for some "premium" scam. Lost all trust in it and the developer, so removing from all browsers on all devices.
Developer response
posted 13 days agoChrome users just beta tested it for Firefox. Hopefully will go smoother here. - Rated 5 out of 5by Fara, 13 days ago
