Rimeglass: Blur Anything (browser extension)

The extension runs in your browser. Your blurs, settings and your own custom rules are saved on your device, in the browser's extension storage. They are not synced and are never sent to us. The extension has no analytics, no advertising and no accounts, and we do not collect, share or sell your data.

To find private information or the things you asked it to look for, the extension reads the text of the page you are on, on your device, only when you have switched that on. The page text and what it finds are never saved or sent anywhere.

License check. Finding private info and Custom rules need a license. The only time the extension uses the internet is for the license, and only if you enter a purchase key (a license you paste in directly needs no connection). Firefox asks you first. When you enter a key, the extension sends the key, a random id made for this installation, the extension version and the name of your browser (Firefox) to our license service and to Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, which records the activation under that id with a label such as "extension: firefox". About once a day afterwards it asks Lemon Squeezy, with the key and that id, whether the purchase was refunded, and when you remove the license it frees the key's place. Like any connection to a server, these services can see your IP address. Nothing from the pages you visit is sent.

What we keep. Our license service does not store this itself: it registers the activation with Lemon Squeezy, which holds the record (key, install id and the label "extension: firefox"). We keep license, purchase and activation records for as long as your license is active and for 12 months after it is deactivated or expires, then delete them.

Your choices. Uninstalling the extension removes everything it stored on your device. "Remove license" in the extension frees the key's place. To ask about the activation records, write to support@zelucode.com.
