I have deleted my review from last week as the issue raised was clearly NOT due to the add on, and the failure of the zoom function to operate was down to Firefox/Nightly.

Version 105.0a1 (2022-07-26) (64-bit) was installed this morning, and ALL functions of the add on were restored - a number of lesser anomalies were fixed too. I changed nothing else.

I also updated from the roll back option, and have full functionality including all the new options added up to 5.3.9.

It is very nice to see and know that author actively takes care about all issues and responses to users reported problems.

Does what you expect it to. Comes with a keyboard shortcut if you don't want another icon in the shortcuts bar.
My only request: A different shortcut icon without the 90° in it. I think it would look very clean! Maybe a toggle in the preferences?

the zoom/mirror button hasn't worked since the latest update unfortunately even after restarting/refreshing/removing the addon. usually a good plugin though. edit: the keybind still works but the button doesn't. will change my review to reflect that it still works :)

So much easier rotating the video itself than having to do it in my display settings which always messes up my icons. The zoom feature is also very useful. The only issue I encounter is sometimes the button gets stuck while zooming in or out if I click to fast and I have to refresh the page for it to stop. I also wish you could change how far it goes up or down per click

With new youtube update, if you activated video pop up preview, weird black screen occured on video list.

Just a quick feedback, after the latest update on Youtube, the addon icon are not appear in the youtube bar, but the function still work using keyboard shortcut.

Another question, is there anyway to keep the rotation while using picture-in-picture mode?

i am amazed how effortlessly it rotates

tested with all other add-ons disabled on latest version of firefox. text selection works for all other add-ons, but stops working when only this add-on is enabled and all other add-ons disabled.

Edit 2: 5.2.2 did not fix the issue

Edit: the only fix is when i change the shortcuts in Manage extensions.

This works great, but I think the add-on breaks the navigation and highlighting features in the search bar. I can't use ctrl + shift + arrow keys to highlight text in the search bar anymore. It works when this add-on is disabled, and doesn't work when the add-on is enabled. Can you please address this with a patch fix?

Since the last update, it can't be full screen with 90 ° rotation. My screen is vertical,I hope the next update can solve this problem.

Thank you. Now it works! I didn't know that there was a way to change the shortcuts for extensions. I assumed that it is not possible because there is no option to change Firefox' own shortcuts.

Hi. I really like this addon, but since I don't use a US keyboard, I can't get all of the keyboard shortcuts to work. The rotate and mirror shortcuts don't work. All others do (moving and zooming). Can you please look into that? I'm using a german qwertz keyboard.

Possible solution: With some experimentation, I noticed the issue went away whenever I closed all tabs of YouTube, and opened up a new one (it wasn't enough to close all but one, I had to close all and then open a new one). The issue came back if I opened a second or more tabs. Hope this helps.

Edit 3: Started randomly working, here's hoping it stays that way.

Edit 1: Thanks for the response. I'm using Firefox Browser 80.0.1 (64-bit). I'm using the current default layout on YouTube. I couldn't get it to work on any videos so I don't know if a link is needed. I also tried disabling all other add-ons but the issue stayed, so it shouldn't be a compatibility issue with other add-ons affecting YouTube.

Edit 2: I tried reinstalling, didn't fix it. I'll edit the review again if the problem resolves or I figure something out. Thanks for responding either way, I appreciate it.
