Screenshot Crawler collects no personal information and sends no data anywhere. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no error reporting and no tracking of any kind. There is no account and no sign-up.

WHAT LEAVES YOUR MACHINE: nothing. The extension makes no network request of its own. Screenshots and recordings are produced in your browser and written to your own computer. Pages you visit, addresses you capture, and anything visible in a capture stay on your device. Text recognition runs offline: the engine and its English language data ship inside the extension, which is why the download is around 4 MB. No image is sent anywhere.

WHAT IS STORED ON YOUR DEVICE: your settings, saved guides and licence key, in your browser's own extension storage. Your capture history, in this browser profile only - the last 30 captures, each held at full resolution with the address and title of the page it came from, so a capture survives closing its tab. Older ones are evicted automatically. Pro comparison baselines, if you choose to save any, are kept until you delete them. All of it is local, none of it is transmitted, and all of it can be erased with "Delete all history" and "Delete all baselines" in Settings, or "Clear history" in the popup. Uninstalling removes it with the profile.

YOUR LICENCE: verified against a public key built into the extension. No server is contacted to activate or validate it, so Pro works with no internet connection.

CONNECTIONS THAT EXIST AROUND THE EXTENSION, neither started by it and neither carrying anything you captured:
1. Firefox's own add-on update check, which Firefox performs for every installed add-on on its own schedule, and which can be turned off in Firefox's settings.
2. The Paddle checkout, only if you choose to buy Pro. Purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record. The extension is not involved, and the licence key is verified afterwards with no connection at all.
