Regarding Encryption:
Authentication/Authorization:
ScribeCount is utilizing Microsoft Azure Active Directory B2C service for Authentication. Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) is the largest single enterprise cloud identity provider in the world with over 14.2 million organizations hosting over 1 billion identities. Using the same infrastructure for ScribeCount provides both the service and our subscribers with security features such as protection of our subscribers’ identities, additional security layers (MFA), protection of our application frontends from brute force, and other attack vectors, as well as a 99.9% availability SLA. Additionally, the platform guarantees data residency and has all the built-in functionality ScribeCount requires to make your website and apps compliant with the General Data Population Regulation (GDPR).
All the user data including credentials, names, and emails are stored in a Microsoft Active Directory. ScribeCount uses Azure AD B2C as an identity management service and uses industry-standard OpenID Connect and OAuth 2 for authentication and authorization.
The Microsoft Azure Active Directory B2C Privacy Policy can be viewed at https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/
Data transfer and Storage:
Each subscriber's personal information, sales, and payment data, is stored in Microsoft’s Azure Cloud service. All sales and payment data are encrypted using 256-bit AES encryption, one of the strongest block ciphers available, and is FIPS 140-2 compliant. Azure Storage encryption is similar to BitLocker encryption on Windows. Storage services are isolated from the internet through a private network which only the ScribeCount API has access too.
