- Rated 2 out of 5by witrak(), 7 years agoQuite convenient extension... :-)
However I have a real problem with the temporary containers as there's no way to filter them out from the displayed list.
Edit: I have changed the rating from 4 to 2 because the extension seems to be abandoned - null reaction to issues for more than a year (including things which are quite easy)... - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13938104, 7 years agoSeems to be no way of adding new containers. The + button just open a new tab, and alt-tab does the same. Frustrating. Any advice?

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12109970, 7 years agoThat's a very nice addition to this (relatively) new addition to FF. Works like a charm and does what I want it to do. One thing that bugs me aesthetically is that the open new *container type* tab button("+" symbol) isn't centered in its box on hover. I can provide a screenshot, if needed.
One thing I'd want though is that there would be a hotkey to open tabs of certain container type.
Not sure if it's applicable to this extension or this whole Container feature. - Rated 1 out of 5by Kooxpi, 7 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13419639, 7 years agoLooks like a quite useful replacement for Tab Groups, which I'm missing since upgrading to version 57. I had about 100 tabs grouped into 3-4 groups. Reopening this session in FF 57 has resulted in all these tabs cluttering up a single tab container. There is an option to open a tab into another container, but I'm looking for a better way. It would be great if we could move tabs into another container by (1) the right click menu, (2) dragging and dropping and/or (3) selecting multiple tabs and moving to a container (either by right click menu and/or dragging and dropping).

- Rated 5 out of 5by Thanos Massias, 7 years agoI like this addon. One thing I noticed is that there is some problem with the counters of currently open tabs per container. For example, if one opens, from the addon sidebar, a new tab under a container that has no open tabs and immediately closes it, the counter stays at (1). If one opens, say 3 tabs and closes all of them, the counter stays at (3) but changes to (1) if after that one opens another new tab.
- Rated 5 out of 5by charles.ee, 7 years agoI was struggling to make use of containers before this extension. Having a visual overview of your containers and how many tabs are active in them is incredibly helpful.
- Rated 4 out of 5by irlapati, 7 years agoThis addon is useful. Is it possible to have setting where the sidebar disappears after a new tab has been opened?
- Rated 4 out of 5by BrianD, 8 years agoI like this, it's a way to keep them organized. Do you think it's possible to maybe separate bookmarks and history by container? I'd like to achieve that and was wondering if it was possible in an add-on
- Rated 4 out of 5by Ammar Najjar, 8 years agoThis is very nice, thanks and keep the good work.
I would suggest some improvements though to suite a better workflow:
- The ability to expand more than one container at the same time (expand one, expand all, collapse one, collapse all, etc. )
- The ability to drag and move/re-order open tabs inside the same container.
- The ability to move/re-order the containers themselves.
Edit: (seems like one cannot reply to a reply)
Thanks for the quick response.
yes, I could not move opened tabs inside the same container, and I opened an issue for that (https://github.com/jonathanKingston/sea-containers/issues/5)Developer response

There is already an issue for this, currently it auto collapses to make is quicker to manage. I suspect turning this off and permitting more than one to be open should be good enough right?

Feel free to create another issue or add comments there.
> The ability to drag and move/re-order open tabs inside the same container.
This is currently possible, are you seeing issues with it?
> The ability to move/re-order the containers themselves.
This would require a change in containers itself, however it has been suggested here:
