Hopefully, it could get the following improvements :
- support for quotes, so entering "one two" (with quotes) would look for the expression "one two" (without quotes) instead of "one" and "two"
- integration with the search bar : automatically highlight the researched terms (need a toggling button on the toolbar to turn this on/off)
Note: I had to restart Firefox for the add-on to start to work. - Rated 5 out of 5by Bout's Morgan, 6 years agoI'm curious to watch the development of this very interesting extension. Thanks Haru!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14380122, 6 years agoI just installed this and it's great.
I've always used Firefox
but I switched to Chrome a couple of weeks ago
because I could no longer use the SearchWP addon in Quantum.
I didn't want to keep using pre Quantum versions and I didn't really like Waterfox.
I found a pretty good alternative in Chrome, Highlight This!, but I just don't like Chrome.
'Search and Highlight' brought me back to Firefox.
You can highlight everything:
single letters or numbers or grammar symbols, part of a word, complete word, hyperlink word.
I didn't see a PayPal Donate link but if this ends up being reliable and stable I want to donate.
My only complaint so far is that you have to click the Search button on the addon every time you refresh a page, go to another page, or expand the page(ie Show More Comments). A hotkey shortcut for the Search button would be good but even better just keep the highlights on until you decide to disable them. That would require another button or a toggle function.Developer response

Hi, 4e7ddd.
I'v tried to impliment your request, but I noticed one serious problem occur.
If you open new web-page , the new page has very large amount of text, this extention can not finish highlight process within practical time, then alert message is shown by browser.
so I implemented the second best, it is add one more shortcut to toggle highlight on-off to prevent user open extentions popup and click 'search' button at every time user refresh and open page.
Thank you. - Rated 4 out of 5by db_trans, 6 years ago
