Segmented and Live Stream History for Twitch by WrittenWind

Never lose track of which parts of a Twitch stream you've actually watched.

This add-on remembers every part of a broadcast you watch, live or as a VOD, and paints those parts on the VOD progress bar. If you watched the first hour live and come back to the VOD later, that hour is already marked. If you only watched from 5:00 to 10:00, only that stretch is highlighted. You get a full, segmented history instead of a single "resume from here" point.

FEATURES
• Segmented history: every range you watch is saved, not just your last position
• Live and VOD together: time watched live shows up on the VOD of that same stream
• Works at any speed: tracked correctly from 0.25x to 2x playback
• Seeks handled: jumping around starts a new segment, and skipped parts stay unmarked
• Custom color: choose a preset or enter any hex color for the highlight
• Optional focus mode: count watch time only while the browser window is focused (off by default)
• One-click reset: clear all saved history from the toolbar popup

WHAT IS NOT COUNTED
Paused time, buffering, scrubbing and ads are not counted as watched.

PRIVACY
Your watch history is stored only in your browser. It is never sent to the developer or any third party, and there are no accounts, analytics or ads. To match a live stream to its VOD, the extension asks Twitch for the stream's start time, which sends only the channel name or video ID to Twitch.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Positions recorded while watching live are accurate to within a few seconds.
• This extension works on twitch.tv and needs access only to twitch.tv.
