Fixed: Removing a completed download now animates out smoothly instead of disappearing abruptly.

Fixed: After cancelling a paused download, the row now clears within seconds of the undo timer expiring rather than waiting for the next background poll (which could take up to 15 seconds).

Auto-intercept toggle now saves instantly The intercept switch in the toolbar header previously required clicking Save in Settings to persist. It now saves the moment you toggle it.

Settings panel no longer exits on Save Clicking Save keeps you in Settings and briefly confirms with a "Saved ✓" indicator on the button. Use Discard to revert any unsaved changes and return to Downloads. This brings the Settings flow in line with standard preferences panel behavior.

Smarter download polling The extension now uses three polling tiers instead of two. Active downloads poll every 3 seconds for live progress. Tasks that are paused or seeding (but not actively transferring) poll every 15 seconds. An empty queue polls every 30 seconds. Previously, seeding torrents triggered the same aggressive 3-second polling as active downloads, causing unnecessary traffic to your NAS — especially noticeable on remote access setups.

Poll race condition fix If a NAS response is slow, the next scheduled poll tick now skips rather than stacking on top of the in-flight request. This eliminates potential duplicate UI updates and task list flicker under slow or remote NAS conditions.

Broader Firefox compatibility Minimum supported Firefox version lowered from 115 to 58, making the extension available to significantly more users without any loss of functionality.

Offline Queue - view & manage queued links
When the NAS is unreachable, queued links are now visible. Click the arrow next to "Queue" to expand the list and see every pending URL. Individual links can be removed without clearing the entire queue.

Completed tab - human-readable error messages
Failed downloads no longer show a cryptic error code. The reason is now displayed in plain language (e.g. "Invalid download link", "Authentication required", "Disk full") with the raw code available on hover.

Completed tab - cleaner failed task display
Failed tasks with no file size no longer show a meaningless "—" placeholder in the metadata row.

Fix: Auto Intercept and Folder Routing settings were not reverting state after Settings cancel

Folder Routing Automatically route downloads to specific NAS folders Based upon the provided file pattern, you can route files to different folders beyond the default folder.

Connection status tooltip Updated the title attribute to show more meaningful text on the current status.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

Completed tab group headers After a Remove All, date group headers (Today, Yesterday, etc.) now clear immediately rather than showing stale item counts until the next poll cycle.

Quick Add auto-navigation Successfully adding a download via Quick Add now automatically switches focus to the Downloading tab, so newly added tasks are immediately visible without manual tab switching.

Faster connection feedback - Reduced the network timeout from 12 seconds to 5 seconds. When your NAS is unreachable, the extension now reports back and queues the task in roughly half the previous time instead of making you wait up to 12 seconds per attempt.

Quick Add accepts multiple links at once with textarea - The Quick Add input has been upgraded from a single-line field to a resizable text area. You can now paste a batch of URLs, magnet links, or .torrent links, one per line, and submit them all in one go. The field expands as you type and shows a scrollbar if the list gets long. Enter submits, Shift+Enter adds a new line.

"Remove All" on the Completed tab now requires confirmation - Clicking "Remove All" on the Completed tab now requires a second click to confirm. On the first click the button changes to "Confirm Remove All" (highlighted in amber) and reverts automatically after 3 seconds if you don't follow through. Switching to another tab also cancels it. This prevents accidental bulk deletion of your completed task history.

Friendlier timestamps on the Completed tab - Completion times are now shown in a human-readable format: "Today · 3:22 PM", "Yesterday · 11:05 AM", or "Tue, Jan 5 · 9:14 AM" for older entries. Previously the raw API timestamp string was displayed.

Queue bar and connection status update - After submitting a link, the queue counter and connection status pill now update right away without waiting for the next background poll cycle.

Auth helper check is now session-scoped - The Download Station auth helper status is now checked once per popup session rather than on every poll, reducing unnecessary background requests.

Seeding upload rate (Completed tab) - Fixed missing upload speed value next to the ↑ indicator on seeding tasks folded into the Completed tab. The rate was suppressed when zero instead of displaying 0 B/s. Upload speed now always renders with units.

Minor internal improvements and code cleanup. No changes to features or user-facing behavior.
