  3. Local Processing & Permissions
    • activeTab & scripting: These permissions are only invoked when you click the extension action icon in your browser toolbar. The extension inspects the HTML DOM of the active tab in local memory to discover hyperlinks and resource URLs. None of this data leaves your browser.
    • storage: Used solely to remember your local interface preferences (such as light/dark theme, default category filter, and duplicate display setting) on your machine.
    • Exporting Data: When you export extracted URLs to TXT, CSV, or JSON, the files are generated client-side via browser memory blobs and saved directly to your local file system.
  4. Optional Status Checks
    If you explicitly click "Check Status", the extension makes standard HTTP requests (HEAD or GET) directly from your browser to the respective link destinations to test server connectivity. These requests are made locally by your browser; no intermediary proxy or external logging server is utilized.
  5. Security of Webpage Content
    SEO URL Extractor does not execute remote code, does not load scripts from external content delivery networks (CDNs), and does not use eval() or obfuscated code. It complies fully with the strict Manifest V3 Content Security Policy (CSP).
