Session Copy reads localStorage, sessionStorage, and cookies for the active tab's origin only when you press Copy, Export, Paste, Import, or Clear. The data is encrypted on your device and placed only where you put it (clipboard or file). The add-on does not collect, transmit, or store any data on a server, has no analytics, and makes no network requests of its own. Settings (capture mode, theme) are stored locally with the storage API.
