Single Purpose Description
SessionTabs is a productivity tool dedicated to helping users manage their browser sessions. Its sole purpose is to allow users to save, organize, and restore groups of tabs to declutter their workspace and improve focus. It does not include any unrelated functionality like ad-blocking, shopping assistants, or social integrations.
Permission Justificationtabs
Required to access the title, URL, and favicon of the active tabs so they can be saved into a session object. Also required to restore sessions by creating new tabs and windows based on the saved data.storage
Required to persist the user's saved sessions (Auto-saved, Manually saved, and Favorites) locally on their device. This ensures sessions are not lost when the browser is closed or restarted.

Data Usage

- Justification: The extension saves the URLs and titles of open tabs to create a "Session" that the user can restore later. This data is stored LOCALLY on the user's device and is NOT sent to any external server.

SessionTabs does NOT collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. All data created by the extension (saved sessions, tab URLs, titles) is stored locally on your device using the browser's
storage.local API.2. Permissions Usage
- Tabs: Used solely to read the current state of your tabs when you choose to save a session, and to open new tabs when you restore a session.
- Storage: Used solely to save your session data locally on your computer.
3. Third-Party Services
SessionTabs does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
4. Data Security
Your data remains on your device and is subject to your browser's security model. We do not have access to your data.
