P.S. And I agree with raveren, about the simple cross icon.

- Rated 5 out of 5by ooofest, 2 years agoSimple an effective, it gives me a single place to easily and quickly click for closing the current tab. Plus, it's a pale color and works nicely with my darker shade Firefox theme.

- Rated 4 out of 5by PERCE-NEIGE, 6 years agoWorks. Put a very light gray cross icon (the icon is different from the addon icon, and no screenshot is provided), the icon sits next to the URL bar, one click and the current tab is closed.
But for visual reasons, I prefer Close tab context menu, that shows a bigger, dark, black icon.
The icon should be customizable, it would be better, or less difficult to see. This addon is for people who has few icons in the bar, or want a very unobtrusive icon.
@Andralon No screenshot is not good for users, but it's never a reason for a one star review!!!! - Rated 5 out of 5by mcmoebius, 6 years ago

Very interesting!
Thanks amokk. - Rated 3 out of 5by raveren, 7 years agoDoes the job, however the icon is not the best choice IMO, why not go with a classic X:

Yes, it is, and it does exactly what a normal user would expect to find natively in a browser: a button to close the current tab.
Mozilla seems to "think different" now. Fortunately clever people are not disappeared from the face of the world AND we're still allowed to drag extension icons to the Tab Bar... so far.
GOOD JOB, mr. Amokk!
Max - Italy - Rated 4 out of 5by Lon, 7 years agoFor some reason the good folks at Mozilla decided I did not need this extension, so it was disabled.
While I would prefer the ability to tell Mozilla where I want my close tabs button(s), this extension does exactly what it says and it does it well.
As for the ability to resize the icons, you could rename them, but it could possibly end up disabling the extension if the Mozilla tactics are similar to those of Microsoft for verifying drivers, etc. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 11858178, 7 years agoOne of the bits and pieces I missed when TMP faded away.
It would be nice to let one chose the icon size, I've seen them inside the XPI.Developer response
posted 7 years agoIcons are there for different screen resolutions, toolbar sizes etc. Firefox chooses icon automatically.
